Ontario-based artist LOONY has dropped her latest single, ‘A GOOD NIGHT’. She continues to develop a sound that blends influences from gospel, jazz, hip-hop and R&B with this track and its mature yet playful sound. She combines a catchy guitar loop with stacks of harmony and a simple vocal sample to craft a beat that sits below her lyrics, which are presented almost as a one-sided conversation. “I’ve definitely ruined what was supposed to be a good night before, because I wasn’t willing to let something go,” she says. “I had questions that needed answering, or feelings I had to get off my chest.
